Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does the price include set up and delivery?
A: The prices listed are 4-hour rates unless otherwise stated. Delivery prices vary by distance but include set up, take down and pick up. Select units are available for self-pickup.

Q: Do you deliver to other cities?
A: Yes! Please call our office at 337-981-5867 for a current quote. We also have branches in Younsgville, Gueydan, Crowley, & New Iberia.

Q: Do you have any FunJumps I can pick up myself?
A: Yes, all basic FunJumps and select dry combo units are available for pick up. Please see our Do It Yourself page for more details.

Q: How far in advance do I need to reserve a FunJump?
A: As soon as you've confirmed a date, we recommend that you book your FunJump. There is nothing worse than getting your party organized, then calling up to book a themed FunJump and finding that the FunJump you wanted is not available! In the spring, fall and summer FunJumps and slides book out fast- especially on weekends and around holidays. However, if you have last minute plans to rent a FunJump or if you've just found out about us, give us a call at the office to see what we have available and we will try our best to get a FunJump to you.

Q: What payments do you take?
A: We accept cash and all major credit cards. If paying by cash, please have exact change as our drivers do not carry cash. We also must have a credit card on file even if you are paying entirely in cash. We accept checks only from schools, churches and businesses unless prior arrangements have been made.

Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: Yes, in order to reserve a FunJump we require a deposit of $50 for orders under $100 and 50% of the total for orders over $100. The deposit is credited towards your rental total.

Q: Can FunJumps be rented overnight or for more than 6 hours?
A: FunJumps can be rented for extended periods of time or overnight as long as it is set up in a secure area. There is an extra charge for 8 hour and overnight rentals, please call the office for pricing. Prices listed online are for a 6-hour rental. If you need to rent for longer or odd increments please call the office and we will see what we can work out for you.

Q: Does the standard 6-hour rental time include your set up time?
A: No. We arrive early to set up so you get the entire rental time to play!

Q: When do you deliver and set up?
A: That depends on how many rentals we have that day or in your area. Generally, we arrive about an hour before the rental time begins so we can set up and have everything ready to go before your party starts. However, if it is a busy day or there is an earlier event in your area we may need to deliver several hours before in order to make all of our parties on time. There is no extra charge and it does not affect your booked party time- you just get a few extra hours of fun!

Q: We´ve rented some really dirty jumps from other companies in the past. Are they always that dirty?
A: No. The unit should be clean when you get it. Acadiana Fun Jumps cleans and disinfects after every rental. We also sell our own specialized brand of cleaner! Click here for more details.

Q: What kind of power do I need for a FunJump?
You will need to provide a separate standard 110 household outlet for each item ordered (some of the larger units require 2 outlets) or a generator. Nothing else can be plugged into the breaker you are using for the unit or you will trip the breaker. Units must be set up within 100 feet of the outlet or generator using no more than 100 feet of extension cord. Delivery orders come with 40-50 feet of cord. If you cannot set up within that space you may use your own 14g or larger extension cord or rent one.

Q: Do we have to keep it plugged in the entire time?
A: Yes. A blower keeps air in the FunJump the entire time. Once unplugged the unit will deflate.

Q: What about parks? Do parks have electricity?
A: Park rentals are very unique. We do deliver to parks but require the customer to provide written permission from the park to use their electricity (even if you are renting a pavilion) or to provide/rent a generator. No water slides or wet combo Fun Jumps may be used without written permission from the park. There is an added $30 fee for delivery to parties in the park as well as a mandatory equipment protection plan.

Q: What if we need to cancel?
A: Please check out our cancelations page for details.

Q: How big are the jumps?
A: The setup space required for each unit is listed near on the detail page for each unit. When in doubt, measure your space to make sure it will fit.

Q: What about the big jumps? Any special requirements?
A: Check the requirements listed on the detail page for each unit. Also, make sure you have at least a 4´ access to the area where it will be set up. The jumps can weigh over 850 pounds so we need a clear path with ample room.

Q: What surfaces do you set up on?
A: We can set up FunJumps on Grass (our favorite and best for the kids), dirt, and concrete. Please specify what surface you will be setting up on so we can bring the proper anchors. Slides must be set up on grass or dirt.

Q: Are we responsible for the unit if it gets a tear or damaged in any way?
A: Yes and no. If damage occurs the first thing to do is have everyone exit the FunJump. You will need to assess the damage and call our office at (337) 981-5867 to speak with a representative before allowing anyone back in the FunJump. You are not responsible for normal wear and tear on our units. Seams may develop tears in high traffic areas over a period of time. If however, damage occurs due to failure to follow our safety rules or negligence (i.e. not turning off the blower in high winds) you will be responsible for all damages up to and including replacement of the unit/blower etc which can cost thousands of dollars. We do not want you to be in that situation which is why we have you sign and initial on all of our safety rules so that you can be the trained operator.

If you have any other questions just give us a call at 337-981-JUMP!
